Ralph Lamar “Ike” Hanley

Mr. Ralph Lamar “Ike” Hanley, age 93, of Hull, GA died Saturday, August 16, 2025 at St. Mary’s Hospital.  Mr. Hanley was born in Commerce to the late Leroy and Mary Linda Burnette Hanley.  He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Nicholson, a United States Air Force veteran, and served during the Korean War.  Mr. Hanley was a retired used car dealer.

Mr. Hanley is survived by his wife, Bonnie Metcalf Hanley of Hull; daughters, Cindy Hawks (Lenn) and Sandra Phillips (Timothy) both of Hull; grandchildren, Katie Futral (Wesley), Tressie Alexander (Scott), Zach Hawks (Sarah) and Jennie Dyer (Cody); and great-grandchildren, Jarrett, Jackson, Janna Faith, Mason, Gideon, Savannah, Adalyn, Simeon, Luke and Rhett.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Wednesday, August 20 at New Hope Baptist Church with Dr. Zach Hawks and Rev. Wendell Hanley officiating.  Interment will follow in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM.
