Earl Gene Poole

Mr. Earl Gene Poole, age 90, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025. He was born to the late Marcus and Myrtle Poole on August 6, 1935 in Gainesville, Georgia.

A funeral service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Monday, August 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Reverend Raymond Latty and Reverend Johnny Latty will be officiating the service. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mr. Poole is preceded in death by his parents; son, Christopher Gene Poole; and several siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Poole of Gainesville, GA; daughter, Lynn Duke of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Lacey Hood (Matt) of Gainesville, GA, Dylan Duke of Gainesville, GA; great-grandchildren, Jentry and Fenley Hood of Gainesville, GA; and many other loving friends and family.
