Gina K. Brockman

Gina K. Brockman went home to Christ on August 12, 2025. Gina was the daughter of Mildred Johnson and William Swep Brockman of Macon, GA. She attended J. Elsworth Hall Elementary School and graduated from Cross Keys Christian Academy and studied at Macon Technical College. She was a member of St. James and St. Francis Episcopal Churches in Macon. After moving to Buford, GA, she fell in love with St. Mary and St. Martha’s Episcopal Church and its members.

Gina was employed for many years by SunTrust Bank, in the fraudulent checks department and later retired as the Executive Assistant to the Treasurer of the Georgia Farm Bureau.

Gina embraced life at every turn, serving other people, particularly women recovering from life traumas. Her honesty, quick wit and love for others is her legacy to all who were fortunate to have been included in her journey.

Her last years were spent living with and enjoying her friendship with Cheryl and Raymond Kelley, and their baby dog, Elvis. Gina is survived by her siblings, Marsha C. Brockman, William Robert (Susanne) Brockman, all of Macon and Richard Lee Brockman of Cleveland, TN.

Services will be officiated by Mother Laura Masterson on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary and St. Martha’s Episcopal Church, 4346 Ridge Rd, Buford, GA 30519. A reception will follow in the parish hall.
