William Arthur Ratliff

Mr. William Arthur Ratliff, age 85, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025. He was born to the late William Henry Ratliff and Eloise Hoffer Ratliff on September 15, 1939 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.

Mr. Ratliff is preceded in death by his parents; step daughter, Leah O’Dell; and brother, Robert Ratliff.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Ratliff of Homer, Ga; daughter, Beth Sparks of Louisville, Ky; grandchildren, Lauren Sparks Bokhouri of Colorado, William Sparks of Kentucky, and Meghan Sutton of Georgia; great-grandchildren, Carson and Lily Sutton of Georgia; stepson, Wade O’Dell of Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, James (Wanda) Ratliff of Illinois; nephews, Owen Ratliff and Brandon Ratliff; and niece, Judy Ratliff;
