Bobby D. Lewallen

Mr. Bobby D. Lewallen, age 72 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at his home, surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Memorial Park South Chapel with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Rev. Dave Channell & Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Lewallen was born September 6, 1952 to the late Vance Lewallen & Mildred Dale Lewallen in Commerce, Georgia. He was employed with Georgia Power for 43 years and retired as a Distribution Supervisor. He was a member of Christ Place Church.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jan Lewallen; his beloved dog, Candy; brother-in-law, Tony (Donna) Whelchel; sister-in-law, Debbie (Jeff) Megrue; several nieces & nephews; special friends that were like brothers to him, Jimmy Stephens & Rick Moorhead; and sisters, Betty (Ralph) Sims & Judy Thomas.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jane Warwick.
