Danny Erwin

Danny Erwin, age 76 of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025.

Mr. Erwin was born on September 18, 1948, to the late James Claude Erwin and Dorothy Lois Crow Erwin.  He was a truck driver and poultry farmer. But he was best known by all as a man who loved God and his family. Danny was a faithful member of White Creek Baptist Church for over 30 years, where he taught Sunday school for many years.  He was a hardworking man who enjoyed playing card games, fishing, and spending time with his family.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Steve Erwin and Lenoria Helton.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Glenda Erwin; children, Tony and Vicki Erwin, Kathy and Rusty Myers, Susan and Kevin Holman, Jenna and Jared Turner, and Brett and Bridget Erwin; grandchildren, Erin and Rusty Martin, Kyle Erwin, Amandah and Spencer McCann, Noah and Danielle Myers, Daniel Myers, Abbigail and Sawyer Smith, Mackenzie Turner, Alexa Turner, Brianna Turner, Braelynn Erwin, and Brynlee Erwin; great-grandchildren, Logan McCann, Averi Martin, and Carolina McCann.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 14, 2025, at White Creek Baptist Church.  The Rev. Lewis Fortner and the Rev. Garry English will officiate.  Interment will follow in White Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
