Jo Anne Carnes

Jo Anne Carnes, 70 of Gainesville (Forsyth Co.) passed away Wednesday August 6, 2025, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville.

Jo Anne was born on September 13, 1954, and grew up in Norcross GA. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Jo Anne enjoyed the beach, motorcycle riding and the outdoors. But most of all spent time with her family.

She leaves behind her loving husband Thomas Carnes of Gainesville GA, her son Paul E Pittman Jr. (PJ) of Adel GA, her grandson Anthony E. Pittman of Lilburn GA, her brother John Hill of Duluth Ga, and sister Robin Hudson of Auburn GA along with many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Saturday August 9, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
