Stanley Irvin, age 67, of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
Mr. Irvin was born on September 23, 1957, in Gainesville, Georgia, to the late Lavon and Ruby Meaders Irvin. He was a beloved husband, son, devoted father, grandfather, and friend to many. He also loved his dog, Jasper. Stanley will be remembered as a devoted Christian. He was a member of Cleveland Worship
Center and devoted much of his time to his church and local schools. Stanley was a talented potter and machinist. He was a member of the Meaders family tradition and built much of his pottery equipment. Stanley was inducted into the Folk Pottery Museum. In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Charles E. Parsons; brothers-in-law, Josh Burnett and Wayne Kiser.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Parsons Irvin; sons, Allen Irvin, Stephen Irvin, and Connor Irvin; grandchildren, Lily Irvin, Avery Irvin, and Elijah Irvin; sister and brother-in-law, Anita and Mike Green; sisters-in-law, Sharon Kiser, Vicky Parsons, Lisa and Will Griffith, Tiffany Burnett; mother-in-law, Patty Parsons; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services are scheduled for 12:00 Noon, Saturday, August 16, 2025, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Marc Turner and Mr. Randy Ellis will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 12:00 Saturday at the funeral home, prior to the memorial service.
