Annette Roberts Turk, 88 of Chestnut Mountain passed away peacefully at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville, and entered her heavenly home on Sunday August 3, 2025.
Annette was born June 26, 1937, in South Hall County to the late Jessie Lee Roberts and Paralee Shubert Roberts. In addition to her parents, Annette was preceded in death by her loving husband, John H. "Johnny" Turk, her precious son, John "Randy" Turk, and her sisters, Myrtice Cain, Ruby Williams and LaVern Porter.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Steve (Vickie) Turk, Flowery Branch, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dot and Bobby Wilburn, Flowery Branch, sister-in-law, Betty Beck, Gainesville, grandchildren, Andy Ledford (Jenny), Flowery Branch, Chris Ledford, Gainesville, great grandchildren, Drew Ledford, Brooklyn Ledford, Austin Ledford and Tenley Ledford.
A lifelong resident of Hall County, she loved the Lord and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. She loved to spend time with her family, friends and neighbors. She was a devoted wife to her late husband Johnny, and they shared 67 wonderful years together. To those who were a part of her life, they felt so blessed to have that relationship with her and to have been loved by her.
Funeral services will be held Saturday August 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Matthew Vandegriff and Rev. Bob White will officiate. Interment will follow in the Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Friday August 8 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
