Carole Yvonne Sheets

Carole Yvonne Sheets, age 88, of Cleveland, passed away on August 3, 2025.

Mrs. Sheets was born on August 11, 1936, in Huntington, West Virginia, to the late Samuel and Kathleen Grubbs Pierce.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed being active in her church.  She attended Calvary Baptist Church and later attended First Baptist Church in West Palm Beach, Florida.  In addition to her parents, Carole was preceded in death by her husband and soulmate of 56 years, Richard Sheets; grandson, Ryan Weber; brother, Richard Pierce.

Carole was fiercely protective of her children and grandchildren.  She loved people and was known for being very social and colorful.  Most of all, Carole loved the Lord, keeping her home and family a priority.  She will be remembered for her love of birds and nature.  If you met her, you didn’t forget her.  Her singing in the choir will be missed, but she couldn’t wait to meet Jesus!

Survivors include her children, Linda Spradlin; Bret Sheets; and Christine Tucker (Mike); grandchildren, Andrew Weber, Cameron Taylor, April Mears (Steven), and Josh Tucker (Courtney); great-grandchildren, Sienna Weber, Steven Michael Mears, Lana Taylor, Charlotte; sister, Kay Atkins; a host of additional loving relatives also survive.

Memorial services will be held in Florida at a later date.
