Bryan Naymond Addis, age 62, of Mount Airy, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
Born on June 11, 1963, in Clayton, he was the son of Angela Owenby Addis and the late Raymond Addis. Bryan was a 1982 graduate of Rabun County High School and was mostly known as owner of B&R Small Engine Shop. He attended New Hope Baptist Church and enjoyed playing bluegrass gospel music. He especially enjoyed playing on Saturday nights at Tallulah Falls. Bryan's family was especially dear to him, and they will remember him for his love.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 36 years, Teresa Bradshaw Addis; sons and daughter-in-law, B.J. Addis (Victoria) and Nathan Addis; sister, Tammie Mathews; special son, Kyle Webb; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services are 3 pm on Sunday, August 3, 2025, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & McEntire, with Rev. Tim Hyde, Rev. Jerry Martin, and Rev. Raymond Fortner officiating. Interment will follow in Hazel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm until the service hour on Sunday, at the funeral home.
