Raymond Eugene Moore

Obituary Date: Wednesday, July 30, 2025

Raymond Eugene Moore was born on October 10, 1934, in Richmond, Virginia, as the youngest of six children. He was incredibly gifted, studying classical piano and voice for many years, becoming an accomplished pianist with an extraordinary voice. Raymond shared his talents at his beloved church, often alongside his lovely wife, Thelma, with whom he shared 60 wonderful years of marriage. In addition to his musical talents, Raymond was a skilled hair stylist, trained in New York, and proudly owned his own salon. Later in life he joined his brother in residential construction, showcasing his versatility and dedication to hard work.

Raymond spent his later years in Braselton, Georgia, cherishing time with his wife and daughters. He found joy in reading his Bible, cooking, enjoying the outdoors, and watching classic Westerns. A man of embodying the values of love, kindness, and devotion.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Raymond was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Thelma Mae Moore, and his grandson Brian Salmon. He is survived by their three children: George Henry Salmon, Charlotte Moore Clark (Rick Clark), and Dana Rae Moore; Two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Raymond’s legacy of faith, family, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A private Graveside Service will be held.
