Jimmy Ray Hudgins

Jimmy Ray Hudgins, age 79, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025, at his residence in Flowery Branch, Georgia. He was born May 22, 1946, to the late Raymond Hudgins Sr. and Lizzie Mae Fuller Hudgins, in Gainesville, Georgia.

Funeral arrangements will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2025, 11:00 AM, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Visitation will be the day prior, Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 PM, and 6:00-8:00 PM, also at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow the Funeral Service, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Jason Buffington and Reverend Phil Carpenter will officiate.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Terry Hudgins; and his brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Frances Hudgins.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Pritchett Hudgins, of Flowery Branch, GA.; his daughter, Teresa Hudgins Bruce; granddaughter Tiffany Storey (fiancé Justin Ebling), both of Sugar Hill, GA.; his sisters, Patricia Smith (Jerry) and Mildred Brown (Chuck), of Cleveland, GA., and Carolyn Buffington (Ray), of Gillsville, GA.; as well as his brothers, Raymond Hudgins Jr. (Jane), of Sautee Nacoochee, GA., and Larry Hudgins (Carol) of Oakwood, GA. He is also remembered by a host of nieces and nephews, and friends.
