Mrs. Lettie Mae Bond Lord, age 80 of Commerce passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at her residence. Mrs. Lord was born in Commerce to the late, Sam and Annie Mae Tolbert Bond. Mrs. Lord was over the basket department at Craven’s Pottery. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lord was also preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Lord and brother, Thomas Bond.
Mrs. Lord is survived by her daughter, Wanda McLendon (Andy) of Danielsville; son, Jeff Lord of Nicholson; brothers, Johnny Bond of Jefferson, Larry and Kenny Bond both of Commerce; sisters, Judy Kent of Jefferson and Martha Pethel of Jefferson; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 29th at 2 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Savage officiating with the interment following at Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12- 2PM.
