Donald Edward Fain, of Lilburn Ga, passed Sunday, July twentieth, 2025, due to a heart attack. He was 91. Born in Lavonia, Ga, Donald moved to the Atlanta area for work.
He is proceeded in death by his parents William Fred Fain Sr. and Eunice Mae Burdett, brothers William Fred Jr, George Willard, James Deward, Charles Eldon, and Bobby Joe, sisters Ruth Chrisly, Judy Mies, Nell Allen, nephew James Anthony Stanley, son Mark Stephen Fain, and wife Eleanor Sheriff Fain.
Donald worked for 25 years at Sears in retail management, along with running a successful catering truck route. He was a prankster, well known for his outlandish jokes and humorous stories. He loved westerns, and spending time with his grandson, nieces, and nephews.
Donald is survived by his grandson, Jesse James Fain, and great grandson Ronan Grey Fain. His sister Rita Diane Evans, and a host of nieces and nephews who will greatly miss his unending humor, hard earned wisdom, and ironclad support.
There are no funeral arrangements at this time, but a joint service for Donald and Eleanor will be arranged at a later date.
