Evelyn Louise Martin

Ms. Evelyn Louise Martin, age 81, of Clermont, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025.

Graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Sardis Baptist Church, Gainesville, GA.

Evelyn was born June 16, 1944. She is the daughter of the late G.C. Martin and Hattie Grace (O’Shields) Martin  She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny Martin and Calvin Martin; sisters, Barbara Martin McDonald and Joan Martin Parker.

Evelyn is survived by her caregiver-nephew, Tim Truelove and many other nieces and nephews.

She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She was a lifelong resident of Clermont, Georgia and she enjoyed sitting outdoors in her trusty porch swing. All who knew her loved her. Now sweet aunt Evelyn, spread your wings and fly.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia, 2150 Limestone Parkway Suite 222, Gainesville, GA 30501.
