Mrs. Judy Carol Baxter, age 72 of Hull passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. Mrs. Baxter was born in Commerce to the late, Frank and Beulah Savage Barrett. Mrs. Baxter was a member of Bibleway Church of God and she retired from the University of Georgia. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Baxter was also preceded in death brothers, Cecil, Richard, Willis, Bobby, and Johnny Baxter; and sister, Birdie Bagwell.
Mrs. Baxter is survived by her husband, Billy Baxter of Hull; daughters, Tammy Baxter of Nashville, TN and Susan Baxter of Hull; sisters, Nizzie Mae Barrett of Commerce, Mary Lou Wynn of Hull, and Betty Bennett (Lonnie) of Helen.
Funeral service will be held Sunday July 20th at 2 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Pastor Lonnie Bennett officiating with the interment following at Ila Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 6-8 PM.
