Robert "Bob" Wayne Means

Mr. Robert “Bob” Wayne Means, age 69 of Paynes Road, Carnesville, Georgia passed away Monday, July 14, 2025 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

A son of the late William “Bill” Means and Geneva Westmoreland Means, he was born December 24, 1955 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Franklin County, Georgia.  He was retired from Eaton Aeroquip Corporation, owned and operated Electronic Connection – Radio Shack for 10 years and later retired from Toyota Tica Division. He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church where he previously served as a Deacon.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles and rebuilding old cars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Means and Wesley Means.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Marcell Payne Means; two sons, Nicholas Means and Dustin Means both of Carnesville, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Agnes Means of Toccoa; his nephews, Mark Means and Alan Means and their families.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 19, 2025, 11 a.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Wayne Marcus officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Barry Adams, Tim Moore and Billy Hallford and should assemble at the funeral home on Saturday by 10:30 a.m.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Robert “Bob” Means.
