Morgan Jedediah Saxon, 83, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. A devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, Morgan lived a life full of love, laughter, music, and unwavering faith.
Born on October 24, 1941, to Claude and Clara Mae Saxon, Morgan was raised with strong Christian values and a joyful spirit. He was a beloved brother to Hilda (Joe) Pavan and Edna (Swayne) Jordan and a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Morgan shared 62 beautiful years of marriage with the love of his life, Dianne Saxon. Together, they built a strong and faithful family. He was a proud and loving father to Jacqueline Saxon and Carroll (Lori) Saxon. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren: Zach & Taylor Saxon, Tom & Lacey Simpson, and Cody & Ciara Saxon; and his great-grandchildren: Calloway Saxon, Andy Simpson, Matthew Simpson, Ellie Simpson, and Baby Saxon.
Morgan was known for his vibrant personality and unwavering faith. A godly man, he had a big heart and an even bigger sense of humor. A lifelong joker and prankster that could light up any room with his laughter and quick wit. He brought smiles to many faces and songs to many hearts as a gifted singer in the Saxon Family group for over 60 years. Music was always close to his heart, with his favorite tune being the lighthearted “Rabbit Ain’t Got No Tail at All.”
In addition to his love for music, Morgan was an avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman who treasured time spent outdoors and in fellowship with others. He was also an entrepreneur, co-owning and operating Crocker & Saxon Construction and later Saxon & Son Construction.
Morgan’s legacy is one of faith, family, fun, and service. He will be dearly missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
