Mildred Louise Howser Cleveland

Mildred Louise Howser Cleveland, age 80, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025, at The Haven at Lake Oconee, in Greensboro, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph Cleveland, and her parents, Glyndon Faye Howser and Idell and James Allen Stringer.

Mildred was born on November 10, 1944. Throughout her life, she was known for her warmth, kindness, and ability to find joy in the simple pleasures. She retired after many years of dedicated work at Avery Dennison. In her free time, she loved to shop, take trips to the mountains, and cherish moments with her beloved dog, Buster. Mildred also had a fondness for jewelry and enjoyed the little things that made life special. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oakwood.

She is survived by her two sons, Donald Cleveland and wife Donna of Gillsville, GA, and Dana Cleveland and wife Jennifer of Dawsonville, Ga; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy. Mildred is also survived by her three sisters, Mary (Stanley) Barden and husband Stanley of Dalton, GA, Joyce Tate and husband Lewis of Gainesville, GA, and Evelyn Anderson and husband Curtis; sister-in-law, Elease Hill of Flowery Branch, GA; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA, with Tim Millwood officiating. A graveside service will follow. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM, at Memorial park Funeral Home.
