Helen Joyce Taylor

Helen Joyce Taylor, age 90, rejoined her Savior in Heaven on July 6, 2025. Born January 17, 1935, Helen was the daughter of the late Audry Gaston Jones and Lillian Wilson Jones of Lubbock, Texas. Helen was married to the late James Marvin “J.M.” Taylor Sr., and was of the Methodist Christian faith.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at St. Paul United Methodist Church.

Helen was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Yoho, and her son, J.M. Taylor Jr., as well as her husband, J.M. Taylor Sr.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Baeumel and husband David Baeumel, of Oakwood, Georgia, and is remembered by 4 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
