Debra Sue Ballard

Debra Sue Ballard passed away peacefully at home on July 9, 2025 in Oakwood, Georgia, at the age of 69, following an extended illness.

She was born on February 12, 1956 to the late Ralph D. Williams and Rhoda Pierce Williams of Macon, Georgia.

Debra was a master cosmetologist and the owner of Tangles Hair Salon in Suwanee, Georgia for 20 years where she retired. Debra was from a large family of brothers and sisters and was a loving mother of two daughters, Allison Walker and Kattie Sexton. Debra loved to cook family meals and spend time with those she loved.

She enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors. However, her first love was Jesus. She loved spending time at her kitchen table reading her Bible and talking with Him. She is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph D. Williams and Rhoda Pierce Williams, her sister Donna Jean Williams, and her brother Ricky Donald Williams.

She is survived by her two daughters Allison Walker (Brandon Walker), Kattie Sexton (Troy Sexton); grandchildren Garrison Walker, Dawson Walker, London Williams, Max Vance, and Trent Sexton; brothers Ralph (Bill) Williams (Beverly Williams) and David Williams; sisters Neva Jane Kendrick and Beth Wiggins; cousin Kinnie Sanders and many other family members. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held by friends, for her daughters, Allison Walker and Kattie Sexton.
