Mrs. Joan Ione Westbrooks, age 69 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 18, 2025 at Memorial Park South Chapel with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 2P.M. prior to the service at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
Mrs. Westbrooks was born September 17, 1955 to the late J.F. Allison and Marie Blackwell in Dahlonega, Georgia.
She is survived by her daughter Heather Perguson, son, Garry Curtis, and brother, Joe Allison. Mrs. Westbrooks has 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 niece, and 2 nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her brothers Johnny Allison and Jimmy Allison.
