Hoyt Terry Tanner

Mr. Hoyt Terry Tanner, age 74 of Lula, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow at Hickory Flat Methodist Church Cemetery, Lula, Georgia.  Reverend Blake Trent will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 11:00 am – 12:00 noon, prior to the memorial service.

 Mr. Tanner was born October 5, 1950 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Hoyt Telford Tanner and Rosalind Timms Tanner.  He was retired as a self-employed Painter and was a member of Holly Springs United Methodist Church in Pendergrass.  Terry was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Heather Tanner and his grandson, Nelson Lancaster.

Mr. Tanner is survived by his wife, Connie Trent Tanner of Lula, his son & daughter-in-law, Ricky & Sonya Tanner of Clarkesville, his granddaughter, Lenee Tanner of Clarkesville, his grandson, Greg Tanner of Clarkesville, 4 grandchildren, his brother & sister-in-law, Larry & Peggy Tanner of Buford and his sisters, Marie Tanner of Jackson County, Barbara Head of Jackson County and Joyce Cleveland of Hall.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
