It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Sameu Chomthipe on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Sameu was born on April 11, 1939 in Vientiane, Laos. Sameu will be fondly remembered for her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering spirit.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Chuang Chomthipe. She is survived by her seven daughters, Vilay Nielsen, Penny Lamphay Hefferon, Lamphoune Taysavang, Lamphone Chomthipe-Sheridan, Davone Woody, Donekeo Phan, Chilaphone Blake; and her thirty grandchildren and great grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Sameu will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. We welcome all who knew Sameu to join us in honoring her memory and celebrating the beautiful life she lived.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 South Lee Street, Buford, GA 30518) to commemorate Sameu's life and the impact she had on all of us.
