Joseph S. Dobash

Obituary Date: Wednesday, July 2, 2025

Joseph Stephen Dobash, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on March 6, 1948, to Stephen and Helen Dobash, Joseph lived a life marked by strength, loyalty, and deep devotion to family and faith. A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and Navy Department for 30 years, Joseph carried the values of service, resilience, and honor throughout his life, always standing strong for those he loved.

Joseph is survived by his devoted wife, Cecile, his sons Mark and Brian, supporting daughter in-laws Lori and Katy, and his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his loving siblings, Bruce and Melinda, who shared in his life's many joys and challenges. A man who never missed a family milestone, Joseph was the cornerstone of every celebration and a constant, quiet support in moments of need. Whether helping with home projects or cheering on the Yankees and Washington Redskins, his presence was a gift to all who knew him.

Known for his physical strength and his unmatched skill as a handyman, Joseph took joy in lending a hand to friends and family alike. He found peace in fishing, joy in bowling, golfing, and pride behind the grill.  He treasured simple pleasures—movie date nights, a good glass of wine, and in comforting his beloved Cecile. A man of unwavering faith and love, Joseph Dobash leaves behind a legacy of devotion, generosity, and warmth that will be forever cherished.
