Nelson Edgar McIntyre

Mr. Nelson Edgar McIntyre, age 81 of Gillsville passed away Monday, July 7, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.  Mr. McIntyre was born in Gainesville to the late, Clyde McIntyre and Edith Adams.  Mr. McIntyre was a retired maintenance technician.  In addition to his parents, Mr. McIntyre was also preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Sue Moore McIntyre.

Mr. McIntyre is survived by his son, Dwayne McIntyre of Maysville; daughter, Misty McIntyre of Gillsville; sisters, Kathy Moore of Loganville, Geneva Anderson of Dawsonville, and Jean Pugh of Flowery Branch; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 10^th at 3 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the interment following at Grey Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 1-3 PM.
