Mrs. Marianne Hennebaul, age 84 of Braselton, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at her residence.
Funeral mass will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Pete Coppola officiating. A private family inurnment will follow. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 9, 2025 in the Braselton Room of the Braselton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hennebaul was born January 1, 1941 to the late Willard Parsons & Helen Novajasky Parsons in Kingston, Pennsylvania. She was a school bus driver for many years with Gwinnett County Schools.
Marianne loved to crochet and made beautiful afghans to give to people as gifts. She made many baby afghans for everyone’s newborn babies. She loved the sport of wresting and has always been involved in the Atlanta Takedown Club, helping wherever she was needed. She became well known in the wrestling community for being in charge of the Hospitality Room for Volunteers and referees being fed at the Georgia High School State Traditional Wrestling Tournament every year.
She was a very proud lady of her children, grandchildren and great children. She will be dearly missed by so many people who knew her as “Nana.”
She is survived by her children, Patricia Ramey; Bud Hennebaul (Beverly); Terri Smith (Mark); Jerry Hennebaul (Amanda); Rick Hennebaul (Gerin). Grandchildren, Melissa Hogans (Richard); Ricky Park; Jay Hennebaul (Alaina); Justin Hennebaul; Angela Dover (Randy); Mark Smith (Caitlin); Arica Unser (Dustin); Luke Hennebaul; Maggie Hennebaul; Lex Hennebaul; Abby Hanna (Beau); Max Hennebaul; along with 11 Great Granchildren; and siblings, Helen Ford, Ann Marie Gurnari, Fran Parsons, and John Parsons.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hennebaul, Jr.; and brothers, Michael Parsons, and Willard Parsons.
