Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Jack Henley Borders, age 97, of Maysville, Georgia who entered rest Saturday July 5, 2025. Mr. Borders was born in Gadsden, Alabama the son of the late Olin Roscoe Borders and the late Gussie Lou Segars Borders. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Frances Borders, daughter, Judy E. Richardson, grandson, Kramer Borders, granddaughter, Candice Borders and a sister, Carol B. Dillard.
Mr. Borders worked for CC Dickson Company as a HVAC Parts supplier. He was a member of Crosspointe Church, Duluth, GA, loved to build birdhouses and be in his garden.
Survivors include son, Steve Borders (Cenia) of Maysville, GA. Grandchildren, Andrew Coker (Melinda), Jennifer Clayton (Charlton) and Jonathan Coker (Jennie). Great grandchildren, Hali, Luke and Jacob Clayton, Katie and Kirby Coker and Kiley and Kambry Coker.
Graveside services for family and friends will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from Evans Memory Gardens with Reverend Bruce Hardy officiating.
