Sandi Alford Passmore

Obituary Date: Thursday, July 3, 2025

Sandi Alford Passmore, 61, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior and surrendered by her loving family on July 3, 2025, just days before her 62nd birthday. Born in Dahlonega on July 17, 1963, Sandi spent her life deeply rooted in the community she loved and served faithfully.

A devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Sandi had a heart of gold that touched everyone she met. She never met a stranger. Her kind spirit and love for conversation made all feel welcome. She brought warmth and light to those around her through her faithfulness, loyalty, and boundless compassion.

For 45 years, Sandi worked as a dedicated paper route manager for the Gainesville Times. Her tireless work ethic, dependability, and genuine care for others earned her the love and respect of her coworkers and community alike. She had a deep love for Braves baseball, especially when watching games with her beloved mother. Those shared moments were more than just a pastime, they were a treasured bond. Sandi also loved spending time with her family and friends, always eager to create lasting memories. A warm and spirited woman, she cherished meeting new people and remained active and social even in her final days. Her greatest wish was to be out and about in the town she adored, living life to its fullest. Above all, Sandi believed in Jesus Christ and carried that unwavering faith through all of life’s joys and trials.

Her greatest joy and pride was her family. She is survived by her loving children, Amanda and Tim Smith, Christopher and Kimberly Passmore, Joshua and Brittany Passmore, Cheyenne Seabolt, and Matthew Seabolt. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to eight beautiful grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Edith Alford; her brother Ronnie and sister-in-law Cynthia Alford; her sister Cathy and brother-in-law Danny Gooch; and her sister Robin Black.

Sandi was preceded in death by her father, Leon Alford; her sisters Brenda Miller and Vicky Alford; and the love of her life, Floyd “Chico” Solano. Their memories lived on in her heart every day, and now she is joyfully reunited with them in eternal peace.

Sandi’s love, laughter, and faith will continue to shine through her family and all who had the blessing of knowing her. Her legacy is one of kindness, strength, and unwavering love.
