Jane Elizabeth Williams

Mrs. Jane Elizabeth Williams, age 87, of Jefferson passed away on Wednesday July 1, 2025 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 5, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Powers officiating. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday July 3, 2025 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. Interment will be in Harmony Hall Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams was born March 9, 1938 in Commerce, Ga. to the late Young French and Ethel Evans McConnell.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Irvin “Bill” Williams, son, Keith Williams, daughters, Jane Armour and Janet Williams, brothers, Thomas McConnell, Robert McConnell, Lamar McConnell, Olan Edward McConnell   and grandchildren, Keisha Williams and Shane Hicks.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughters, Lisa Nash and Wanda June Williams both of Jefferson, brothers Gene McConnell of Hull, Ga. and William McConnell of Nicholson, Ga., sisters, Mary Loggins, Eleanor Allen and Carolyn Sears, all of Commerce. Grandchildren, Katrina and Jamie Broome, Brandon and Alisha Dover, Billy Williams, Nicole and Kasey Loggins, Brittany and Justin Roberts, Breanna and Shawn Roberts. Great Grandchildren, Cherish Broome, Dylan Broome, Keilynn Williams, Hunter Dover, Tanner Dover, Lily Dover, Payton Roberts, Jase Roberts, Michelle Hicks, Clayton Hicks, Sherry Lynn Hicks, Kelsee Gerrin, Aydan Gerrin, Westin Corn, Kash Loggins and one great great grandchild, Bentley Broome.
