David Allen Haynes

Mr. David Allen Haynes, age 70, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, in Braselton, Georgia. He was born in December 6, 1954, to the late Fletcher Haynes and Mamie Shoemake Haynes, in Gainesville, Georgia.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM, in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 3, 2025. Reverend Drew Loggins will officiate the service.

David Haynes retired as a Mechanic from Southern States Feed CO. He loved working with his mules, wagons, and tractors. He enjoyed farming and gardening and his simple country life. His daily joy was his two grandchildren coming to visit.

Mr. Haynes is preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Haynes, Jerry Haynes, Gerald Haynes; sisters, Mildred Strickland (Marshall), Mary Ann Bates (Joel), Latrelle McGhee (Don).

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betty Jean Haynes; daughter, Becky Edmonds and son-in law Jody; grandchildren, Lane Edmonds, Sydney Bates; sister, Hazel Reed.
