Geraldine Woodall Gore
Geraldine Woodall Gore, 87, passed away peacefully June 27, 2025 surrounded by family. Born on July 22 1937 to Fred and Della Woodall, she was a lifelong resident of Gainesville and grew up in the Gainesville Mill Village on Dean St. A graduate of Lyman Hall High in 1955 where she was a Cheerleader and a member of the Tri-Hi-Y club. She was also a member of the Church of God in Gainesville and it was here that she met her late husband, Kirkland.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Brock will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Geraldine held several job including The Department of Labor and Dixie City before settling down to become a full-time mother of 4 girls. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Kirkland Gore, 4 brothers Raymond, Angrus, Gene and Ted, 2 sisters, Nina and Laverne. 2 brothers, Terry and Jerry survive her.
She is survived by her daughters Cindy (Keith) Bardes, Renee (Hal) Conner, Lisa Gore, Lynn (Ken) McCoy, 5 grandchildren Amber (Chris) Brock, Drew (Alecia) Bardes, Whitney (Corey) Alexander, Zach (Anna) Bardes, Simone Hudson,13 Great Grandchildren, Lexi, Breelyn, Logan, Adalyn, Evy, Addison, Liam, Mia, Elijah, Danica, Presley, Nate, Ali and one Great-Great Grandchild, Neriyah.
The family would like to thank Ashton Senior Center and Georgia Hospice in Gainesville and all the many workers there who took such good care of our Mom for the past 6 months.
