Joyce Bagwell Martin

Joyce Bagwell Martin, age 84, of Buford, GA, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Essie Cash Bagwell; brother, Edward Bagwell. Ms. Martin is survived by her son, Kelly (Tammy) Martin of Winder, Ga; daughter, Nancy (Edward) Satori of Dawsonville, GA; granddaughter, Alisha Moneymaker of Clermont, GA, great-grandson, Cameron Reed of Clermont, GA; sister, Betty Clark of Buford, GA; brothers, Leon (Carolyn) Bagwell of Buford, GA, Bob (Claire) Bagwell of Buford, GA; sister-in-law Mary Bagwell of Buford, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ms. Martin was born July 24, 1940 in Buford, GA. She was a homemaker and also worked as a bus monitor for the Buford City School System. Ms. Martin was a member of Buford Church of God and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class at Buford Church of God, Marty Compton – teacher. She loved sewing and cooking.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., at Buford Church of God, with Pastor Joey Grizzle officiating. Interment will follow at Sugar Hill Cemetery, Sugar Hill, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, June 27, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.
