Charles Randall Allison was born April 11, 1950, in Gainesville Georgia to C.F. Allison and Nancy Inez Allison.
On the morning of June 20th, 2025, he went home to be with the Lord after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was 75 years old.
He was pre-deceased by parents and sister, Diane Allison. He is survived by his daughter, April Rooks of Sautee Nacoochee, Son-in-law, Nathan Rooks; grandchildren, Preston Cummings and Cheyenne Rooks; sister, Janet L. Allison and brother, Donnie Allison.
Faith was the cornerstone of his life. He never missed an opportunity to share about his faith and love for the Lord with anyone he met.
As a self-taught and very talented musician and tenor, he sang with the Blackshear Place Trio in high school and the Liberty Boys Quartet in his 20s. He later played with Band of Gold and The Neal James Band, both top 40 bands. He played bass guitar and drums with Southern Gospel groups The Gospel Cousins, Heartsong, and King’s Messengers.
He was skilled at carpentry and loved working with his hands.
Prior to his illness, Randall loved to travel, taking long road trips out West as well as his regular adventures to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
A home going service will be held July 6th, 2025, at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel at 3pm. A reception will be held following the service.
