Born on May 18, 1971, to Charles and Frances Gilstrap, Sallie lived a life deeply rooted in faith and love for Jesus Christ. She found immense joy in her role as "Mimi" to grandchildren Jackson Craig, Jameson Marie, Stephen James, and Sophie Mae, eagerly awaiting the arrival of Baby Girl Robbins in October.

For over three decades, Sallie dedicated herself to her work as a hairstylist, using her salon chair not only to beautify but also to share stories of her family and spread her unwavering faith. Her warmth, compassion, and devotion touched countless lives throughout her career.

Sallie is survived by her beloved husband, James Stanley Smith; her daughters, Kelsie Maria Hinton (Bradley Hinton) and Kayla Abbie Robbins (Blaine Robbins); grandchildren, Jackson Craig Hinton, Jameson Marie Hinton, Stephen James Robbins, Sophie Mae Robbins, and Baby Girl Robbins (expected); her mother, Frances Gilstrap; her sister, Lisa Marie Phillips (Todd Phillips); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
