Judith Ann Millwood

Mrs. Judith Ann Millwood, age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2025, at her residence in Dahlonega, Georgia. She was born Wednesday, June 17, 1946, to the late John Winston Wimberly Sr. and the late Julia Mae Norris Wimberly, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

The Funeral Service will be held Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 3:30 PM, in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors prior to the service, on Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 1:30 PM until 3:30 PM, also at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Anthony Laniewicz will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Judith was preceded in death by her husband, James Edson Millwood; and the father of her children, Carlton Farist. She has also rejoined her parents, and her son, Eddie Farist.

She is remembered fondly by her sons, Mike Farist (Stephanie), of Tucker, Ga., and Timothy Farist (Ruixin), of Athens, Ga.; and her daughters, Lori Cantrell (David) and Deborah Michele Farist (Anthony). She is remembered by many grandchildren,  Kristen Marshall (Nate), Emily Marshall (Matt), Natalie Fiore (Matthew), Cole Cantrell, Jon Farist, Nate Farist, Alex Farist, Anna Farist, Grace Landreth (Daniel), Danny Farist, Joshua Farist, and David Farist; and great-grandchildren, Nora Marshall, Lillian Marshall, Paisley Farist, Alex Farist Jr., Lainey Farist and Ryan Farist. She is also remembered her brother, John Wimberly (Robin), and by her great-nieces, Lashea Martin and Andrew Wimberly.
