Betty Jane Braselton Watson

Betty Jane Braselton Watson, age 94, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM, in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will hold a private visitation prior to the service. Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Betty was born Sunday, October 19, 1930, to the late Hoke Braselton and Gladys Luther. She was a successful para pro for 30 years, and retired from Lyman Hall Elementary.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hoke and Gladys Braselton; husband Frank J. Watson, Jr.; daughters Nancy Cooper and Susan (Chris) White; her grandkids Brandon Cooper, Scott White, and Tiffany (Dustin) Hudgins; as well as her great-grandsons Rodger and Franklin Hudgins.
