Edward “Ed” Burton

Edward “Ed” Burton, age 58, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. He was preceded in death by parents, Billy T. and Gloria Dean Pass Burton. Mr. Burton is survived by his children, Adam Burton and Molly Burton both of Loganville, GA; sister, Angela L. Burton of Athens, GA; brother, Philip (Lisa) Burton of Lula, GA; nephew, Cliff Burton (Ellie) of Braselton, GA; niece, Andrea Burton (Steven Olsommer) of Greer, SC; and several cousins. Mr. Burton was born on April 17, 1967 in Duluth, GA and received his education at Norcross High School. He was a maintenance worker, and had once been employed with Gainesville Marina. Ed enjoyed spending time at Lake Lanier, and he loved going to Florida to the beach. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Peachtree Memorial Park in Norcross, GA with Rev. David Simpson officiating.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 17 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
