Jerry Pierce Truelove

Mr. Jerry Pierce Truelove, age 87 of Maysville, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Memorial Park South Chapel with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Rev. Keith Truelove, Dr. Fred Roberts, & Rev. Jamie Buice will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 10, 2025 and prior to the service Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Truelove was born December 15, 1937 to the late Joseph Pierce Truelove & Jessie Nebraska Adams Truelove in Gainesville, Georgia. He was a veteran of the United States Army and attended Greater Love Baptist Church in Flowery Branch as well as Temple Baptist Church in Homer. 

He is survived by his wife, Marie Parker Truelove; son, Rev. Keith (Tabitha) Truelove; daughter, Karen (Dr. Fred) Roberts; 8 grandchildren, Jason (Hailey) Dorsey, Ashley (Dustin) Henson, Amanda (Jamie) Buice, Katie (Matthew) Lee, Briana (Chase) Stone, Delaney (Logan) Brent, Callie Truelove, Cooper (Taylor) Roberts, & Hannah (Ethan) Elder; 22 great-grandchildren, Addison, Lindsi, Angel, Ari, Emma, Tenley, Remington, Makayla, Reagan, Easton, Ellie, Everly, Chaselyn, Jamison, Landon, Gatlin, Banks, JB, Greyson, Adeline, Beau & Dallas; and sister, Claudine Martin.
