Horace J. Kilgore, Sr., age 94, of Flowery Branch, GA, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025.
Mr. Kilgore was born in Gwinnett County to the late Willis and Alice Kilgore.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mazie H. Kilgore, and 1 granddaughter. Also preceded in death by his siblings, James (Ruby) Kilgore, E.H./Red (Margaret) Kilgore, High (Grace) Kilgore, Carrie Mae Kilgore, Hazel (L.C.) Beck, Carolyn (Lyman) Mauldin, and Margaret (A.T.) Patton.
He is survived by his children; Howard Kilgore, Harold (Sharon) Kilgore, Mary Ann (Scott) McDonald and Horace (Alice) Kilgore, Jr.; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private, immediate family only, Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2025, officiated by Rev. Clyde Self, at Memorial Park South Cemetery, Flowery Branch, GA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at Flanigan Funeral Home, 4400 South Lee St., Buford, GA 30518. 770-932-1133
