Robert K. Johnson

Robert K. Johnson, age 62, of Buford, GA, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Bernice Penland Johnson; sister, Christine Thomas; brothers, Tony, Billy Ray, Jimmie Dale, and Frankie Johnson.  Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 4 years, Gwen Hayes Johnson; daughter, Laquisha Thomas; step-sons, Johnny (Sam) Nuckles, Nathan Nuckles, Teddy Nuckles; 18 step-grandchildren; brother, Rickey (Frankie) Johnson of Buford, GA; nephew, David (Tamika) Johnson of Buford, GA; other nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mr. Johnson was born on November 9, 1962 in Buford, GA.  He was a 1980 graduate of Buford High School where he played football.  Mr. Johnson was retired from the City of Buford Street Department and member of Allen Temple Methodist Church.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Kenneth Brown.  Interment will follow the service at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at Flanigan Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
