Pamela Westmoreland York

Pamela Westmoreland York, age 76 of Gainesville and formerly of Habersham County, passed away May 21, 2025.

Born in Clarkesville on November 22, 1948, Mrs. York was the daughter of the late Verner Westmoreland and the late Sylvia Westmoreland Whitley.   She was a self-employed cosmetologist and hair stylist for many years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. York is preceded in death by husband Stanley R. York, son Michael Allen, daughter Janice Allen, brother Travis Westmoreland, and sisters Argen Thomas and Evelyn Thomas.

Immediate survivors include sons Nick Allen and Richard York (Shannon), daughter Renee York, grandchildren Jase Allen, Brayden Allen, Madi Cate Allen, Hudson York, Reagon York, Aubree Van Winkle, Collyn Smith, Elisa Smith, Audrey Roberts and Kyle Stephenson, as well as numerous extended family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 8, 2025 at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Wayne Sisk, officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service Sunday from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM
