Chris Pace, age 59, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on May 21, 2025. He was born on April 20, 1966, in Royston, GA, to the late Charles Pace and the late Martha Hunt Embrick. Chris is survived by his beloved wife Sandra Reed Pace; his children Cole Pace (Emilee) and Jennifer Pace Viall (Hunter); siblings Tracy Smith (Bill), Rita Outz (Tim), Perry Pace (Kristy), Jane Butler, and Angie King (Peter); mother-in-law Joyce Reed; special aunt Louise Wills; grandchildren Maddox Pace and Bella-Reese Davis; his pride and joy, German Shepherd "Bo" and Dachshund "Molly"; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
Chris had a deep love for the outdoors. He spent many happy hours hunting, fishing, and nurturing his small garden, which he tended to diligently each year. Always eager to share his passions, Chris enjoyed learning new things so he could pass on his knowledge to his children and grandchildren. He taught them both how to play the guitar and appreciate music. His greatest happiness in life came from spending time with his friends and family, especially relishing his role as "Pop" to his grandchildren. Known for his easygoing nature and sense of humor, Chris loved to share laughs and good times with those around him.
A celebration of Chris's life will be held at 3:00 PM on June 29, 2025, at the Gainesville Civic Center, located at 830 Green Street, Gainesville, Georgia.
