Barbara Ann Meeks Watkins

Mrs. Barbara Ann Meeks Watkins, age 87, of Nicholson, GA died Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at her residence. Mrs. Watkins was the daughter of the late Donell and Lola Spivey Meeks. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edward Watkins; son, Dwight Watkins; daughter, Vickie Westmoreland; and great-grandson, Jude Pritchett.

Mrs. Watkins is survived by her daughter, Teresa Kesler of Nicholson; sons, Bobby Watkins of Lula, Wyman Watkins of Carnesville, Courtney Watkins of Homer and Jeffery Watkins of Nicholson; sister, Wanda Chitwood of Baldwin; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Tuesday, June 10 graveside at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Wayne Abernathy officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5 to 7 PM.
