James Seaborn Ellis

Mr. James Seaborn Ellis, age 84 of Gainesville passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday June 3, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Al Waltz will officiate.

Mr. Ellis was born September 21, 1940 in Gainesville, GA. to the late Guy and Annie Lou Brown Ellis. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Julius Ellis and Cecil Ellis.

He was retired from the poultry industry where he worked in research and development for several different companies. He was a member of the Lighthouse Community Church.

Mr. Ellis is survived by his wife Myrtice Ray Ellis of Gainesville, daughter & son-in-law, Kim and David Carney of Dawsonville, son & daughter-in-law, Chris and Kelly Ellis of Gainesville, Sister and brother-in-law Mary Jane and Danny Cline of Gainesville, grandchildren Megan and Levi LiBasci, Jesse and Kelsey Popham, Jake and Lane Ellis and one great grandchild, Charollte Ray LiBaci.
