Paul Theron Luce, age 80, of Suwanee, GA, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, May 27, 2025. He passed away peacefully in his home. Mr. Luce was preceded in death by his father, P.T. Luce and his mother, Ilea Luce. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Teena Threadgill Luce; His children, Shannon (Luce) Prentice, Adam Luce, and Lindsay (Luce) Lucas; His grandchildren, Samantha, Olivia, Cooper, and Iris; his sister, Ellen Twombly and her children.
Mr. Luce was born March 24, 1945 in Fillmore, NY. Mr. Luce was a graduate of Greene High School in Greene, NY and a graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, where he received his Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry. He performed extensive Master’s degree work at the University of South Carolina. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines.
Mr. Luce was the proud Founder and Owner of Southern Feed Ingredients in Suwanee, GA. He ran the business for nearly 20 years until the day he passed. The business will be proudly passed down to his son, Adam, who worked alongside him for many years. Mr. Luce enjoyed cooking, reading, bird watching, passing on family stories, and telling bad jokes. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family. His recipes, stories, and bad jokes will be remembered and passed down for generations.
A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Evans Memory Gardens (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549). The family will receive friends on Sunday at the cemetery from 1:30 p.m. until time of service.
