Annie Lou (Sullens) Parks

At 80 years old, Annie Lou (Sullens) Parks, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away and entered into Heaven on May 24, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry Deyton will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

She was born January 6, 1945 in Dahlonega, Georgia, the daughter of Charlie and Adel Sullens.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Adel Sullens. Husband Jack Parks, brother Richard Sullens, daughter Jackie Brady (John), son Dewayne Payne, and bonus sons Thomas Parks and Bobby Parks; granddaughters Robyn Gilstrap and Ashley Brady.

Annie was a Christian, homemaker and a momma to many, including animals that had lost their moms. If you didn’t have a babysitter, she would say “Bring them to me.” She loved to garden, cook and work outside. She could help you hook up a tractor as well as she could cook you a pound cake.

Left to cherish her memories are her family, daughter Renae Mills (Vic) of Dahlonega, Georgia; bonus daughter Darlene Wilson (Tim), brother Stanley Sullens (Marissa), grandson Johnathan Brady (Melissa), Adam Sudduth, and bonus grandsons Michael Tatum and Brandon Tatum. As well as her great-grandchildren Savannah Brady, Alice Wynne, and Reighlan Brady.

Some very special nieces and nephews, and adopted son, Cliff Pierce. She is fondly remembered by, friends, and members of her community.

If you ever called her Momma, Auntie, Grandma, GiGi, or Nanny Annie, just know she prayed for you and loved you very much.
