Ralph Scroggins

Ralph Scroggins, 65, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday May 27, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born February 10, 1960 to the late Sanford and Emma Lou Scroggins, Ralph had been a resident of Dawsonville for almost 20 years.  He was raised in Alpharetta and had also resided in Cherokee County.  Ralph was a member of Spirit Baptist Church in Dawsonville.  He had a great love for his family, friends, and neighbors, never met a stranger and would always lend a hand whenever he could.  He was preceded in death by 5 brothers.

Surviving are his companion, Debra Mills of Dawsonville; sisters, Mary Gay of Ball Ground, Carolyn Koonce of Cumming, Becky Ray of Ball Ground, Linda Waters (Rex) of Dawsonville; step-daughter, Shanna Jones of Cumming; grandchildren, Angela Jones, Cameron Jones; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 3 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Edward Callahan and Rev. Carol Pruitt will officiate. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to help offset final expenses.
