Linda Doris Banks

Linda Doris Banks, age 83 of Flowery Branch, GA passed away Monday, May 26, 2025. Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Earl Pirkle will officiate. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. 
Doris was preceded in death by husband, Charles E. Banks, Sr.; parents, Stewart and Mary Lou Gann Taylor; sons, Jimmy Banks and Daniel Banks; grandson, Greg Banks. She is survived by her children, Laurie Banks Thomas and husband Jamey, Buford, Ed Banks and wife Kim, Flowery Branch, and Jeff Banks and wife Andrea, Dawsonville; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; siblings, Debbie Frix and husband Hulon, Flowery Branch, Patsy Parr, Dacula, Wendell Taylor and wife Diane, Buford, and Ronnie Taylor and wife Louise, Gainesville.
Doris was born in Suwanee, GA and was a life long resident of the Atlanta area. She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Community Church.
